  • My journey began as a kind of evolution of functions. I started in this area as an artworker and post-production image in a prepress / production company that developed the main work to Advertising/Design agencies.
    My main goal was always realize how jobs are produced and how best to prepare them to achieve the best result, and this was a very good start.

    At the same time as a freelancer, I developed flyers, posters, etc., for some of the most prestigious clubs as well as music CD covers for prestigious records label like Universal Music, Sony Music, Reader’s Digest, among others. Jobs that allowed me to finance most of my training and I have developed up to today.

    Later i joined in DDB Lisbon (advertising/design) as an Art Director for brands like Mc Donald’s, VW, BP among others and then went to a big Editorial Group as a Graphic Designer.

    I started my own company in 2001 MWK visual emotions, where i did a little bit of everything like Creative Direction, Art Direction, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics and so on, which allowed me all the needs of managing a company, and above all, a Creative Company, and gave me experience in some level of financial management, customer relations, project management, team management, etc.

    Here worked the most business sectors such as Fashion, Music, Pottery, Automobile, Beverage and Foods for brands like, Fatima Lopes (fashion designer), Vista Alegre, Universal, Alico AIG, Face Models, Acting Layjan, among others, and covering from Brand Identity, Web Design, Editorial Design, Direct Mailing, etc.

    I bet constantly in my training, so during my journey I joined a course in Communication - Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations and roughly 4 years that I have invested my time in the Motion Graphics, 3D Edition, taking a course in Motion Graphics, a Final Cut Studio and recently Cinema 4D.

    I love creativity and apply it where i can, either to develop a brand identity, a flyer,
    a decorative enviroment or the website layout, no matter how big the project or brand is, all it matters is the final output. On the other hand, when working in new areas, we need to research all about, and that allows us to exercise creativity, Increase our knowledge and evolve more and more.
